Celestial Array, A story of van cleef and arpel

This necklace is conceived as a modern homage to the legendary Ceinture style, reinterpreting its iconic belt-like silhouette through a lens of contemporary high jewelry and rare color.

Flowing ribbons of pavé-set diamonds trace the neckline in two elegant arcs, their precision and brilliance evoking the craftsmanship of Parisian couture. Like a jeweled sash, the diamonds create both structure and sensual movement, guiding the eye toward the dramatic centerpiece.

At the heart of the design glows a pear-shaped 24.38-carat Imperial topaz, suspended in a burst of diamond light. Its fiery amber-pink hue brings warmth and radiance, shifting from soft peach to glowing sunset tones as it catches the light. Above it rests a 3-carat Mozambique pink sapphire, chosen for its intense saturation and exceptional clarity—cooler in tone yet equally vivid, creating a refined dialogue of color and contrast.

True to the spirit of the great maisons, the necklace also embraces the poetry of transformation. Both the Imperial topaz and the Mozambique sapphire are detachable clips, allowing them to be worn independently as jewels in their own right—an homage to the modular ingenuity found in Van Cleef & Arpels’ Sous les Étoiles, Heavenly Dreams High Jewelry Collection of 2021.

Surrounding these center stones, finely cut diamonds radiate outward like a constellation, framing the gems in pure light and enhancing their fire. The entire composition feels poised and celestial, as though suspended between earth and sky.

This is not merely a necklace, but a celebration of color, craftsmanship, and imagination—a tribute to the heritage of Parisian high jewelry, reinterpreted for the modern collector who seeks rarity, versatility, and enduring beauty in a single extraordinary creation.
